Civil Subdivisions Queensland Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a civil engineering firm based in Queensland, Australia. We provide subdivision feasibility assessments and civil engineering services to Queensland property owners and developers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, time spent, browser type, and device type (collected anonymously via site analytics if enabled)
  • Free Subdivision Checker inputs — property address and lot details entered into the tool; these are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers unless you proceed to submit an order

2.3 Sensitive Information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health, financial, or identity information) through this website. Please do not include sensitive personal details in enquiry or notes fields.

We collect personal information through:

  • Order form — when you place an order for an RPEQ Feasibility Assessment
  • Contact form — when you send a general enquiry through the website
  • Newsletter sign-up — when you subscribe to project updates or industry news
  • Email and phone — when you contact us directly outside of the website

We do not collect information from third-party data brokers or social media platforms.

6. Storage & Security

Your information is stored in:

  • Google Workspace — email and Google Sheets, secured by your Google account credentials and Google's enterprise security infrastructure
  • Our email system — order and enquiry notifications received via Web3Forms

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. These include using reputable third-party services with strong security practices, restricting access to your data to those who need it to deliver our services, and not storing payment card details (all payment processing is handled by PayPal).

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

7. How Long We Keep It

  • Order records — retained for 7 years to comply with Australian tax and business record-keeping requirements
  • Contact enquiries — retained for up to 2 years, or until the matter is resolved
  • Newsletter subscriptions — retained until you unsubscribe
  • Free Subdivision Checker inputs — not stored beyond your browser session unless you proceed to submit an order

When information is no longer required, we will delete or de-identify it in a secure manner.

8. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations
  • Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us directly
  • Complain — if you believe we have mishandled your information, you may make a complaint to us (see Section 12) or to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au

Our website uses minimal cookies. We do not use advertising, tracking, or profiling cookies. Cookies may be set by:

  • PayPal — sets cookies on the payment page to manage your payment session
